It looked awesome but I don't have Showtime.

Anyone else catch it? if it's any good I'll just grab it on DVD when it comes out.

2. I thought it was a bit stupid.
24 comes to mind. Not quite that stupid, but close.

Why would a 'sleeper cell' get together at a picnic? Why would the head of the cell introduce everyone to each other, including the new guy, who of course is our mole?

The chief villian hands out 'military grade cipro' (wtf?) and our guy promptly hands the same over to his handler. Uh - suppose he gets asked for it back?

The cast of bad guys is a hollywood variety pack - a couple of real mideast muslims, a bosnian, a french guy, some blonde kid, and our guy.

Seems to me that they killed any suspense about how this plays out right in episode one. Like 24 you know that all you are going to get is plot twists and then the good guys will triumph.

3. This kind of stuff is pure propaganda...
It may or may not have government sponsorship, but in the current climate, government sponsorship and corporate sponsorship are the same damned thing.
