2. done.........58% say no...?
the government shouldn't set a timetable for withdrawal? this makes absolutely no sense to me, especially since according to an article posted here this morning says that EVEN the iraqi's themselves want us out.

23. Well no, Utah gets that distinction
According to recent job approval polls, Utah is the most intractable pro-Bush state in the country. Idaho and Wyoming are in a virtual tie for 2nd place however. Boise as a whole is not near as conservative as the rest of Idaho, much of which is absolutely beyond redemption.

5. I'm thinking we, the Democrats,
may be a tiny bit pre-mature with pressuring our Democrats to call for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq. I say this because if the repugs do it now, they take ALL the credit and claim, VICTORY. This quagmire is theirs and do not deserve a political way out.

I'm for withdrawal but do not want the repugs to spin this.....I think if we push it in July 06, we can flood the campaigns with the anti-war message full force, holding the repugs accountable for their failures...

We can pound them with failure and should, daily but lets not play all the cards at once.

8. Respectfully,
our troops aren't 'cards.' Playing our men in harms way for political advantage is a hallmark of the psycho right. Let's not adopt their 'anything to win' tactics.

24. I thought of that........
but it is political. It was from the start. If we can gain a powerful hold on Congress in 06, and set up for 08...we will server our troops in the long run. Removal of this administration and their neo-con partners for their great big stranglehold on our nation is ultimately the key to peace. Giving the repugs any more false Victories will make it that much harder. I also fear that they will pull a fast-one.....somehow, they will mislead the public that they have withdrawn troops when they really only changed the tactics.

6. This poll shows how incredibly stupid Americans are.
Before they started farting out the "no deadlines" propaganda, every sane American would have insisted on a deadline for removing troops from occupied territory.

Now Moron America just repeats what the government wants them to repeat.

Our country is dead.

7. exactly my thoughts.
All of this 'discoursing' is meant to give an air of legitimacy to the pure absurdity that is their precarious position. Not their opinion, which they and I could care less about... but their position, it must be defended at all costs. The minute "time-tables" bumbled out of *Bumbles bumbly little mouth you automatically know 50% of America just demonized the word forever. Not the concept, no no no not even close to the reality that it entails, just the GODDAMN word.

It is sad to see Democracy fail like this.

President Bush has wisely turned his sights to a conservative Idaho judge who could swiftly be confirmed to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
