... instead of making a big scene at Woolworth's. I mean, there were bigger battles to be fought, weren't there? :eyes:

So blacks were good enough to do the dirty work but not good enough to eat there. How crazy were these whites???? Did they have a swastika tattooed on their foreheads? The idiots who passed these Jim Crow laws had to be Nazis.

5. Wow look at the prices......seriously
they took a stand. I remember my first trip down to old Greenville (KKK) Mississippi in the early 60's. My aunt & uncle got relocated there after a local carpet mill closed up. It was pure "shock" for me, a white boy from the north. They used to have to get me to hush up, when I asked questions. If I remember correctly the Smithsonian has the lunch counter or did.
