1. Yeah I've been depressed recently upon the realization
that we can get the whole damn country to realize that they've been had on the Iraq war and the only difference it will make is that Bush will work that much harder to cover his ass and pull the wool over the eyes of the American people.

2. And it's too bad most of the country hates shrub now,
Because it looks like we're stuck with him for at least 3 more years now.

I say at least, because of his remark from a few years ago about how much easier things would be if this was a dictatorship. As long as he's the dictator.

I wouldn't put ANYTHING past this bunch. Especially if it looks like jail time is involved.

5. Indeed.
But it is a 20th century mentality he possesses in the face of a 21st century world.

The United States grew up, in a sense, over the past few hundred years. But at our core is a "tar and feather" mentality born of a revolutionary nature. He can't control us, and only a fool would think it possible.

And we are looking at the fool.

From 1865 to this day there have been three impeachments (including Nixon). All based on some element of personal gain.

In 2006 the tables will turn. And make no mistake, the impeachment of B*sh will be based on an underlying charge of treason, no matter how it is dressed up.

I doubt you will find 1 in 5 people on the street admitting he voted for the moron at that point. It is going to happen. SO I can wait 11 more months.

He can just go back to Texas - as long as these idiots face the next two generations in disgrace. They will.

Joe

3. I think once people wake up and realize what's happening
things will start turning for the good, if we can last that long. I sense an awakening of the, masses, if you will. His words are sounding rather hollow to a bunch of the repukes right now. A lie can only last so long and the bigger the liar the harder they fall. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

6. As long as I am in "Preachy mode",
There is one more thing - at the end of the day - us regular, middle class, average, americans will prove the morons downfall. Because some of us, many of us, took the time from our busy schedules to weigh in on the issues of our day. It is not 1775 anymore, we can do it on the internet - in off hours - and the impact is the same.

He doesn't have a prayer in hell.

He is lucky it is not 18th century america - because he could most certainly expect to be tarred and feathered before he got run of town on a rail.

We are not stuck in anything. And this will not take three years to come about.

We really are Americans first - and that is why I know this idiot goes down here. I am so sorry for our children caught in between - they really are our heros.

Joe
