Bush called into jury duty
First Kerry and now Bush. Heh!

Snip: <WACO, Texas -
President Bush could get a new title: juror No. 286. Someday, but not Monday, when he was summoned for jury duty. The president was among 600 potential jurors summoned to report to court in McLennan County, where his 1,600-acre Crawford ranch is located.

State District Judge Ralph Strother told the Waco Tribune-Herald he expected to get a response about the summons but didn't expect Bush to report for duty.

"I don't think I'll be sending the sheriff out to bring the president in," said Strother, a Republican who has a grandson serving in
Iraq. "It seems to me that the president has plenty of things to occupy his attention. Jury duty is a very important civic function, but running the country, I think, especially in wartime, takes priority over jury service.">

1. Good thing for whomever is on trial!
I'd hate to have monkey boy on my jury. And you know that he'd get elected foreman too.

4. What a contrast to Senator Kerry, who showed up last week
AND performed his duty as a juror in Boston. No, a senator's job isn't as important as a president's, but every day more evidence comes in at what a self absorbed, only in it for himself idiot we have as president, in contrast to our other choice. Oh, and the best was Kerry's fellow jurors were Bush voters, who said "whoops" after they spent 2 days with the senator in the jury and realized what a grave mistake they had made last Election Day.

5. Yep
*sigh* I wonder if Kerry was president if he still would've gone. I wouldn't doubt it. :)

2. Yeah, I started a thread on this earlier, and wondered aloud if
two lucky litigators would get him under oath. I kinda doubt it...Cheney ignored it when Judicial Watch had him served.
