Leaking At All Costs/Weekly Standard Seeking Standup Comics...
"The CIA’s war against the Bush administration is one of the great untold stories of the past three years. It is, perhaps, the agency's most successful covert action of recent times." http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/11/30/opinion/main1086900.shtml

:rofl:

3. The last two paragraphs sez it all......
The twin leaks to the Times and the Post have severely impaired the agency's ability to carry out renditions, transport prisoners, and maintain secret detention facilities. It is striking that top-level CIA officials are evidently willing to do serious damage to their own agency's capabilities and operations for the sake of harming the Bush administration and impeding administration policies with which they disagree.

The CIA is an agency in crisis. Perhaps, though, there is a ray of hope: the agency has referred the secret-prison leak to the Post to the Justice Department for investigation and possible criminal prosecution. It is a bitter irony that until now, the only one out of dozens of CIA-related leaks known to have resulted in a criminal investigation was the Valerie Plame disclosure, which was trivial in security terms, but unique in that it helped, rather than hurt, the Bush administration.

4. yes sir i seen that, how can any armchair, writing-head neocon...
being paid by the inch for such drivel; possibly know with any certainty that the Plame case is, or for that matter "was trivial in security terms"...all those possibilities are likely shaking out as we type these things. these jokers are beginning to remind me of cornered badgers :thumbsdown:

5. There's two movies that remind me of this comedy we're witnessing
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 11:43 PM by 0007
"Blazing Saddles" & "Going South", in fact this administration is following the script fairly close to "Blazing Saddles"

7. Tis funnier every time I see it. Blazing Saddle's is one film I never
tire of watching.

This I picked up from the last time I saw it;

One of main street's storefronts is Howard Johnson's Ice Cream Parlor - advertising only 1 Flavor . And the fact that the townsfolk are all named Johnson further emphasizes Rock Ridge's homogeneity.

And the greatest line that reminds me of junior on going into Iraq, is when Hedley sez;

I've decided to launch an attack that will reduce Rock Ridge to ashes...I want you to round up every vicious criminal and gunslinger in the West. Take this down: I want rustlers, cut-throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperadoes, mugs, pugs, thugs, nit-wits, half-wits, dim-wits, vipers, snipers, con-men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bush-whackers, horn-swagglers, horse-thieves, bull-dykes, train-robbers, bank-robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers, and Methodists!

Sorry if I bore you but I'm still laughing.
