6. Who thinks the oil companies will actually profit from this?

I think things are such a mess that the hoped for oil profits will not become reality.

I can't see a "graceful" way out of this. I see only two ways out:

Withdraw now, and leave Iraq in turmoil.

Withdraw 5 years from now, and leave Iraq in turmoil.

Unless the U.S. forfeits the oil profits, why should the U.N. or anyone else go in to straighten things out?

They increase how long the troops are going to be in Iraq every time the open their goddamn lying mouths. and some neo-cons have the nerve to insult the military when they hear soldiers "whining" about being over there. If they're so hot to be in Iraq why aren't they over there?
