Last Chance For Love

We're in the home stretch of my help-me-avoid-eviction fundraiser: I'm still $155 short of my goal of $600. I know how tough everyone has it right now, but if you have it to spare please drop a buck or two in the hat. I've had a rough year and the last way I want to end it is by getting kicked out of the house. I have no doubt that the future will get better, and when it does, those that helped out will be remembered, and I of course will be as generous to others in need as you all have been to me. Thanks again.

I was laid off of my job just before Christmas of last year. Then my wife fell ill and spent 2005 in and out of the hospital, making it extremely difficult for me to find work. She passed away at the end of September and I have spent the last two months trying to get my life back together again. Now I'm finally to the point whre I can actively look for work again. My landlord, who has been extremely patient because of Cathy's illness, wants me to get back on a regular track paying the rent.

With some work and some luck I don't doubt I will be working again soon, I just needed to make sure I got the rent situation taken care of.
