1. I did it
I told him Christmas was a made up holiday to sell toys and that the birth of Jesus Christ was more likely in the summer.

I even called him a X-tians and said Merry X-Mas!!

I hope it pisses him off.

2. I am a little afraid of what I may say
like "I have deleted you ,Pat Robinson and all the evangelical traitors from my TV" --I have known a lot of gays and every one of them has more integrity than you, the evangelical wacko's and the Bush lovers ---using God to preach hate and greed is not on my list of the Christian thing to do--lying and killing people seems to be your idea of what a Democracy should be ---In other words take your message and shove it along with all the other Bush a** wipers. Yours truly, --------

6. This was my message to him
"In this season it might be especially appropriate for you to bring to viewers' attention some of the myths popularly believed about Christmas, compared with the real history of it. That would truly be a service to the public.

For instance, Christmas is a derivation of a Roman pagan holiday, Saturnalia, and Jesus was most likely born in spring or summer.

The 'holiday' as celebrated today focuses almost entirely on buying exorbitant amounts of gifts. It would be interesting to see you talk about the evils of crass consumerism and suggest that perhaps your viewers skip giving most of their presents this year, and instead give the money to charity or spend some time working in a soup kitchen. You know, because Jesus loved the poor. He also said 'Sell all you have and come follow me.' You have never preached on that theme and now would be a perfect time to do so."

Wonder if I'm on his card list?

10. My message to Falwell and Robertson
Edited on Sat Nov-26-05 11:21 AM by IanDB1
You mashugana, what have you done to my birthday? I was born on 15 Tishri during The Feast of Tabernacles. And instead of buying presents to feed the rich, why don't you give to the poor? Or are we supposed to spend our money to line Pat Robertson's pockets by purchasing his blood diamonds? Or shall we spend our money gambling at one of Louis Sheldon's casinos? Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell had better start trying to figure out how to fit a camel through the eye of a needle.
