Are all the wingnuts up and about this morning?
Listening to WJ on C-span & the all RW nuts are apparently calling in to give their incisive commentary on global warming.

1. Global Warming doesn't exist. And by that we mean
that Global Warming does exist. It just doesn't.

Isn't that the administration's official stance now?

Granted, they have said that they believe it might exist, but isn't caused by man.

Why, though, didn't we ever take that and accuse them of flip-flopping?

But maybe what they were trying to say is that Global Warming is real, since the average temperatures keep increasing. But they weren't created by man, but rather by some sort of "intelligent designer"...

2. They start with "it doesn't exist"....
Global warning does not exist.

But if it does, it was not caused by humans.

But if it was, it has no effect on life on earth anyway.

But if it does, then it's a good thing and should be encouraged.

4. "Global warming's a myth! Here's our solution!
"HUH?" you say?? Well, this article in yesterday's Wall Street Journal says the Bush administration (you know, the one that pooh poohs the Greenhouse effect and which rejects the Kyoto treaty) has a plan for pumping "global warming" CO2 gas into abandoned mine shafts! I couldnt make this up if I tried:

The Future of Carbon-Dioxide Storage
Might Lie Under West Virginia
By JOHN J. FIALKA
Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
November 25, 2005; Page A4

Delegates attending next week's international climate-change conference in Montreal will attack the U.S. for pulling out of the Kyoto Protocol, which mandates steep cuts in greenhouse gases. Bush administration officials will respond that they are doing more than critics realize, but the real action lies deep beneath the surface -- in some cases almost two miles straight down.

The White House sees technological progress, more than regulation, as the key to limiting carbon dioxide and other emissions believed to cause global warming. A centerpiece of its effort is a 9,200-foot-deep hole in the ground in New Haven, W.Va

A hole in the ground 9200 feet deep.

6. Global Warming is Not Only a Hoax,--
it's a large communist plot. Michael Crichton has proved this in his latest work of fiction, "State of Fear".

Here is one of his reviews, ----

"You can tell that the review a little below this one was written by a liberal, left-wing college professor. I had my fill of them when I was in school.

This book confirms what I have always believed - communism may have died in 1989, but it immediately reared its ugly head under a new name - "Environmentalism." Blame everything on big business. I really wonder where environmentalists think they will get their bread and butter from when they've succeeded in doing away with capitalism."
