Malkin draws SIXTY to speech: "Media is against Bush administration"
Edited on Fri Nov-25-05 08:48 PM by Bluebear

...She said The New York Times and The Washington Post carry a double standard and that they are “covering up a lot of atrocities done by Democrats.”

She used Eleanor Clift of Newsweek and political cartoonists as specific examples of the media against the Bush administration.....

Malkin concluded her presentation with a question for the audience. “If we don’t question (liberal's) patriotism, who will?” she said.

The crowd of about 60 people would have been larger, however, it dwindled significantly because Malkin arrived over an hour late due to weather delays at the airport. “It was the day from hell,” she said after some technology problems prolonged the speech further.

Maybe she was talking about those horrible liberals
who said this about her:

His question was prompted by vicious anonymous bloggers who portray me as a greedy Asian whore/dupe/brainwashing victim who simply parrots what my white slavemasters program into my empty little head. These critics have stepped up attacks on my husband Jesse as a fanatical right-wing puppeteer orchestrating all I do and say.

http://michellemalkin.com/archives/003955.htm

Funny thing is, she has some links in the article. None of which point to a single "anonymous blogger" who said any such thing. All the links in the article point to other articles on her site, and those articles have links which point to.. you guessed it, more articles on her site. She's demented, really.

According to the article, half of 'em were (unpatriotic) liberals. Weather delays at the airport caused the problem, she said. We could offer a big thankyou to whichever airline made her late, or maybe to the Goddess for messing up the weather, but would she really have drawn a bigger crowd if it weren't for that? Jeepers, she's awful. Annthrax Coulter wannabe.

11. There is no left wing media. The media is run primarily by the CIA.
Namely the Washington Post and the New York Times.

And of course spewing individuals like Michelle Malkin who do their bidding and continue to try and desperately perpetuate the lie that the media is anything other than a Right winged group of men who are in large part connected with intelligence.

30. Your information is a little outdated....
...since major corporations began buying large chunks of the media about twenty years ago to have the news reported as they see fit.

Those major corporations are very conservative politically with interests in finding new markets and cheap labor, wherever they may be. The industrial, intelligence, military, and diplomatic arms of the U. S. government do the bidding of these major corporations by protecting current markets and attempting to take over new markets by any means necessary.

Yes, Operation Mockingbird was begun by the CIA in 1948 to infiltrate the media at all levels to influence and guide reporting to the American people, as well as manipulate public opinion. Over time, other inteligence organizations created their own versions of Operation Mockingbird, like ONI (Bob Woodward), each with their own agenda and worldview.

When the major corporations began buying up the media, the media began shaping public opinion in support of corporatist goals for a global economy. That effort has culminated in what we're experiencing today. Anything eating into the profits of those major corporations, like healthcare, is being eliminated as quickly as possible.

The NeoCon Junta is the public persona of the rightwing fascist corporate elite, and they are attempting to use the U. S. military and intelligence arms to achieve total control of OPEC oil. If you look closely at some of the trouble spots around the globe, you will find the worst spots concentrated around the geographic locations of the various OPEC member-states.

As much as so many DUers hate the thought, some portions of the CIA are actively engaged in destabilizing the NeoCon Junta. As proof, I ask the doubters to ask themselves where they believe all of the leaks have originated.

I also ask them to consider which agency of the U. S. government would be most likely to keep copies of the proceedings of all so-called secret meetings, phonecalls, emails, faxes, and any other correspondence of the NeoCon Junta.

Which agency has taken the most damage over the last five years from the NeoCon Junta? Which agency has been blamed for the so-called "bad" intelligence on WMDs? Which agency has been demoted from a cabinet-level position by the NeoCon Junta? Which agency is in the most danger of being broken into pieces to be parceled out to any number of other organizations?

And finally, which agency has the most reason to seek revenge from the NeoCon Junta?

The article didn't mention the political persuasion of the attendees, but back in "my day" most radical political speakers were attended by a cynical crowd of onlookers who mostly came to snicker at them. Of course that was in the sixties. :hippie:

On edit, it appears that the article does mention that there were liberals there to offer their opinions as well. So I guess not that much has changed over the years. ;-)

What would be the result of Michelle's not making silly attacks, from her perspective? It's sad, really, to look at the photo in the OP. Michelle is an attractive woman, who has allowed hatred to distort her features. While she is not particularly bright, judging by the way she presents her viwpoint, she does have the potential to be a positive force in our culture. That potential is being wasted.

Did she do her usual charming advocacy for bringing back internment camps (for those she decides are "traitors" or not "patriotic" enough?) When I see human trash like Malkin & Coulter on TV they are living proof of the total, utter decadence & decline of televised news in the United States. Rupert Murdoch should burn in hell for a lot of things, but giving airtime to the likes of Malkin & Coulter should be high on the list.

that many of my Asian friends and colleagues (all rather recent immigrants) have positive things to say about internment camps. None, however, are Japanese. They are Chinese, Korean, and Taiwanese. I think it has something to do with WWII leftover hate and I am assuming that's where Malkin gets hers from. Not excusing her, just trying to place her particular nuttiness historically.

She obviously has a chip on one of those lovely shoulders.

41. "A Simple Question for Michelle Malkin"
http://www.speakspeak.org/speak-blog/2005/11/24/a-simple-question-for-michelle-malkin/

Has your husband ever posted under your name?

At your blog, were any articles presented as "by Michelle Malkin" written entirely by your husband?

Conservative blogger Michelle Malkin avoided the question when askedabout it by Brad Krantz of WZTK-FM, calling the authorship accusation "vile," but not false.

She also avoids the question in a long post at her blog.

She writes about marriage ("I have my hubby's help for a few hours a week.") She writes about Al Franken (he has "research assistants," she irrelevantly notes.) She writes that the question is "racist."

She writes that her husband "helped me with a handful of blog posts out of the estimated 3,000 I've written since June 2004," without explaining whether "helped" means wrote in their entirety, or how many blog-articles constitute a "handful."

But she doesn't write, "None of the posts here with with 'Michelle Malkin' in the byline were written entirely by my husband."

Her evasiveness suggests she's guilty of deceiving the public. If Michelle Malkin lets someone else write entire posts under her name, then she is a fraud.
