" White Supremacist David Duke in Syria " WTF?????

(IsraelNN.com) Former Ku Klux Klan leader and Louisiana State Representative David Duke was in Syria on Monday to express solidarity with Damascus.

At a press conference in the Damascus' Rawda Square, Duke said, "I have come to Syria to express my support for the Syrian people.... It's the duty of every free man to reject the conspiracies and threats Syria is exposed to." Duke charged that pro-Israel neo-conservatives in the US are controlling American foreign policy and that "Zionist-controlled mass media" are hiding "the reality of Israeli terrorism against the Arabs."

Attending the press conference were several members of the Syrian parliament, and Arab and foreign correspondents, as well as representatives from Russian academia.

I was cruising a conservative pest hole site and saw a "Breaking News" that our forces had invaded Syria so I googled for Syria in the news and this is what popped up.

Now how weird is that?

This just means that Arabs are above Jews on the list of people Duke hates (with both groups probably sandwiched between women and black people)

White supremacists, fundies, and, I'd add, Libertarians all typically vote republican because they are all against using common resources to help people who are different than they are, but they don't by any means agree on all issues.

I wonder if Duke hates Arabs at all, because after all, they are caucasian (well, close enough for Duke types, probably) and don't forget the original Nazis had many dealings with Arab sympathizers. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem met personally with Hitler twice, and the SS recruited a whole division of Bosnian Muslims, the "SS Hamilcar" division. Himmler thought it was great that these Bosnians believed they would go straight to heaven for dying in battle, so he was quick to sign 'em up. This isn't to smear the Muslims though, because the SS recruited in all the occupied territories with some success.

I'll bet that in Duke's mind, if Arabs were good enough for Hitler, they're good enough for him.
