Question: Just how big are the Abramoff/Congress scandals?
My sense is that this will involve a number of elected officials and sleazy influence peddlers. However, it seems like the public is woefully unaware of this matter (surprise, surprise). Part of it is apathy, but part of it is the never-ending string of republican scandals--from Enron to Plamegate to DSM to torture to stolen elections (I will stop here for the sake of space).

Anyway, just how big are these scandals? How many are there? And is there a coordinated investigation or several separate investigations?

I will take my answer off the air (ok, I hate that line--sounds so pretentious)

6. The battle is over the Democrats won!
It will take many years to discover the facts, and that will only benefit the Democrats. The major battle is over, the rule of law prevailed.

10. This is going to be VERY big.
The public hasn't heard about it because MSM hasn't been covering it. Remember how long it took Plame to make the front page? The media now smells blood in everything Republican and this will soon be a 24/7 story. The difference between this and Plame is that this definitely goes to the top: Bush returned money to Abramoff.
