2. Well, that would suggest that Bush is "gifted"...
Which, of course, is quite the opposite of reality.

So, no, I don't think he has much in common with the Far Side at all ;)

I have always loved that cartoon, that one in particular used to crack me up. How perfect. Good one.

To me he looks a bit like the old Monty Python skit, Twit of the Year but I like your comparison better.

Edit to correct spelling

5. He´s no Jerry Ford. But Jerry´s men work for him.
When Ford fell, he really didn´t like it when people made fun of him because he was an athlete. He missed a golden opportunity because people would have enjoyed laughing with him.

Now bush really did want people to laugh with him yesterday instead of at him. If you watch the clip, you can see that after he failed to open the door, he then posed for the camera in a self-deprecating way.

Now if he had just spent the last 5 years being honest, and Rush Limbaugh hadn´t spent 15 years teaching the Republicans how to hate Clinton, every American could simply laugh with him.

Those days are gone. We laugh at you bu$h because you and your Republican Right wing conspirators earned our scorn.
