US Troops Shoot-up an Iraqi Family Again. WARNING! * Graphic Photos*
Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 08:26 AM by leftchick

The coffin of an Iraqi family member, mistakenly killed by U.S. forces, is loaded on a minibus, in Baqouba, Iraq, Monday, Nov. 21, 2005. U.S. forces mistakenly fired on a civilian vehicle outside of an American military base north of Baghdad on Monday, killing at least three people, including one child, a U.S. spokesman said. Five people returning from a relative's funeral, including three children, were killed and two others wounded, said Dr. Ahmed Fouad of the Baqouba city morgue. U.S. officials said they only knew of three deaths in the incident, including one child, and three others wounded. (AP Photo/Mohammed Adnan)

ATTENTION EDITORS - VISUALS COVERAGE OF SCENES OF DEATH AND INJURY. Iraqis grieve over the body of a relative killed in a shooting while the family was on their way to Baquba, about 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad, November 21, 2005. Witnesses and the Iraqi police said U.S. troops opened fire on a crowded mini-bus north of Baghdad on Monday, killing five members of the same family, including two children, and wounding four others. The U.S. military said it was looking into the incident but did not confirm its involvement or provide any other details. REUTERS/Hilmi

WARNING! Below is a dead little girl...

this is why that little baby's dead body should be plastered on every american newspaper. So folks will wake up and see the USA is killing babies in Iraq. Daily.

Iraqis know it and it is way past time for americans to know it as well.

47. It is a waste..
the zero-sum-gain of hatred. To be compelled by their depravity to hate others diminishes us by some amount.

Although it is possible to have pity for them, mercy should be reserved for those that truely deserve it. For the rest, there should be justice.

7. C-Span caller: "the media only shows us the bad stuff"
Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 08:44 AM by welshTerrier2
it's a regular theme for those calling in on "the republican line" ... "the liberal media only shows us the bad stuff" ...

they never show dead little girls on TV ... the WH refused to allow photos of flag-draped coffins returning from Iraq ... they don't show American troops kicking in doors and occupying residences ... they don't show the really bad pictures from Abu Ghraib ... they don't show sprays of white phosphorus raining down on Fallujah ... or the total devastation we did to cities like Tall Afar where more than 100,000 were driven out of their homes by US forces ... they don't talk about the sewage in the streets and the polluted water that Iraqis have no choice but to drink ...

the reality is that almost all media are EMBEDDED ... the military has very carefully controlled the flow of information coming out of Iraq ... conditions in Iraq are so unstable in most of the country that journalists rarely get to see what is really happening over there ... they are getting little more than a peek through their hotel windows ... so when right-wing Americans complain about a liberal bias in the media, they should understand that all that bad news they keep hearing and seeing from Iraq is the best news the American government has been able to manufacture ...

the Iraq policy is a total failure; blaming the media for a liberal bias doesn't change that ...

Also, I was wondering...maybe with a US pullout..other countries would be able to "help" Iraq without being tagged to a "US led war"..
I dunno, just tossing it out there,

27. Yes, we live on the same planet! It's horrible.
You have no idea how much I despise our government.

I just sent a picture of the dead little "insurgent" to Hillary Clinton with the following message:

Senator Clinton;

I know you want to "stay the course" but the blood of this little insurgent is now on your hands because you are impeding attempts to stop it.

Iraqis do not want us there. The majority of Americans don't want to occupy Iraq. Please, think about what is being done to innocents. Iraq is far worse off under US occupation that it ever was under Saddam.

Leave Iraq to the Iraqis. Stop the slaughter.

Nothing to acheive in Iraq. Only deaths and more deaths and more bad karma. Reality is that plain and simple will the Iraqies people ever forgive America? Not their families their relatives and their friends, look at those pictures. This is not victory, this is hell.

The current leaders, both in the White House and in Congress, are destroying America, and doing so very quickly.

We will be scorned for generations like Germany was after Hitler.

When we finally are rid of BushCo., we must immediately make reparations to Iraq.

Money will not take away the pain of lost loved ones, but we have to help them rebuild.

and Iraqis "standing up as we stand down" and our "Iraq policy" and spreading democracy" and "winning" and "so they won't die in vain" - is it? This senseless death....this needless killing... IS IT?

Because then America has been very successful.

How easy it is for the cowardly scum of America to sit in their nice comfy homes and talk about the sacrifice being worth it.

53. The Children of Iraq have names (Ragin Granny song)
THE CHILDREN OF IRAQ HAVE NAMES

Chorus: The children of Iraq have names
The children of Iraq have names
They must not be collateral damage
The children of Iraq have names

repeat Chorus

The children of Iraq have beautiful faces
They are not the faceless ones
The children of Iraq have hearts that pound
When they run and dance and play

The children of Iraq have many dreams
They are not the dreamless ones
The children of Iraq have twinkling eyes
They are quick and lively with their laughter

repeat Chorus

The children of Iraq have hopes and fears
They want to grow and live and love
The children of Iraq have smiles and tears
Just like you and me

The children of Iraq have names
Call them Omar
Call them Mohamed
Call them Fahad
Call them Marwa
Call them Tibya
Call them by their names
but never call them statistics of war.

repeat Chorus.

66. If this keeps up I'm sure...
.. that in time the entire middle east will eventually join the battle against the US.

I'm certain that this was an accident. I can't believe that it would be intentional. This is what happens in war like this one. A war where there are no front lines and you can not tell friend from foe.

We do not have near enough troops in Iraq to win the war and stories like this build up the insurgency.

This sad story and others like it is all the more reason for us to pull out now.

...looks to be about the same age as this girl. I wonder what she was called, and if she liked the same games.

In general,
I support the troops. I hope you go home soon.

In this particular case,
Fuck you, you bastards. I hope you burn.
