Yahoo post of the day!!!
Bush and Vietnam
by: javaman1995a 11/20/05 07:17 pm
Msg: 316 of 316

My hypothesis is that it was a good thing that Bush didn't go to Vietnam, for if he had, Saigon would have fallen much sooner. He breaks everything he touches. If he can't handle one followup question from a reporter, how could he have handled active duty combat?

8. Well, it really was a good thing that Bush didn't go to Viet Nam.
It would have been a waste of ammunition.

American ammunition.

15. His life expectancy in Nam as a 2nd Louey ...
... would've been less than a minute under combat conditions. Somebody would then collect the betting pool. (The last part is a joke. Smile.) The action report would be very complimentary. Poppy Bush would've had something nice to hang on his "ego wall."

16. Yeah. I',m smiling.
I had to pay off on one of those pools one time. Better than letting the idiot get more of us killed, though.

If you haven't you should buy Al Franken's "lies" book. He has a fantasy section of if Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Limbaugh and some other chickenhawks go to Vietnam and it's hilarious.
