What are the Juarez Murders?

I saw just part of a discussion on BookTV about them. I had no idea they were going on and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Does anyone have any links that give a good synopsis of the subject?

3. The murderer is supposedly the worst serial killer ever.

IIRC, he has killed over 300 people in a border town region near Texas. Very disturbing and no one knows if he was caught/killed and an apprentice took the ropes. It still goes on today as well speak.

I'm not sure if this is where I read it, but at one point the US companies that have factories there employed a number of victims. The reporter noted that they still weren't lighting the parking lots or hiring guards at night.

9. it seems the factory managers hold girls overtime and bus drivers pick

them up alone and they disappear .. and are transported out and used as sex slaves or used in parties by police politicians and drug lords then killed. there are 700 to 800 missing young girls.. and 300 bodies found.. and 5000 missing adults in juarez

8. i am from el paso, the word is that the police and drug dealers kidnap

young girls and young women from good families who are virgins so they wont get AIDS.. they doll them up for parties and the guests use them as they will and for party favors they get to kill them.

i saw the juarez chief of police on tv when asked why there was no investigation.. he said.. *they were just prostitutes anyway* which is not the case.. they are all very young attractive good girls..
