Since this is supposedly the advice that Cheney gave to the Republican leadership today, how does this manifest itself?
Do they blame Democrats of playing politics with this issue? Do they blame it on the liberal media? If so, how should Democrats respond?

1. Dems should respond with the truth, as always

we know what they're going to say.

2. The Democrats should ignore it.

And focus on getting at the truth, whatever it is. Somebody overruled Tenant. We need to find out who it was.
