The Savage firing: A chance for Jesse "The Body" Ventura?
MSNBC has talked about giving the former Minnesota governor a show of his own, but they have continued to kick the can and delay. I wonder if it is a possibility now that Michael Savage has been kiboshed. Sometimes I agree with Jesse, sometimes I do not, but I think he would speak to a large audience that is largely unrepresented by TV blowhards: alienated moderates and independents. Many TV talk show hosts, like O'Reily and John Gibson sell themselves as "independent", only to show us otherwise. Jesse Ventura is hard to characterize as whoring for anybody other than himself.

3. today
He told a gay caller to die from aids. I think MSNBC was embarassed by him from day one and was just looking for an excuse to get out of his contract. It would be interesting to find out how much it cost them to release him.
The same news piece I saw announce this also mentioned Candice Bergen (I think. Maybe it was another older hot babe) was going to get a liberal show. Whether radio or TV I didn't see. Anyone here about this?
