Another Political Blunder
So, on the day that Hadley's name is officially added to the list of suspects, The Veep attacks our party for their unpatriotic rewriting of history. It makes me think they want this battle to wage because they think they can win, and as long as we are talking about Iraq, we are not talking about the "small" illegal acts that inadvertently took place at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Ok, so why, I ask. Because if Hadley spills the beans the real truth might be that the WHIG group made a decision by committee that Plame be outed. In that case they all broke the law--Rice, Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc. and should be put in jail.

The only problem with this is that they can not win the war issue. It is costing us a fortune and we are reaping NO BENEFIT. Our kids are being killed everyday. We are no safer. We are watching country after country be hit with terrorist attacks, so we have tangible proof that our strategy for success is a big fat FAILURE!

They are going to lose both battles. IMO of course.

1. Remember, these guys are masters at reflection.
Whatever they accuse their perceived opponents of, you can bank that that's precisely what they are doing.

That's right. They say it FIRST, when they know
they've been doing it. Some would call that ridiculous hypocrisy....

2. Foreign Policy v Domestic
Watch for BushCo to change the subject, back and forth between foreign and domestic policy, when they need to divert attention. It's their standard MO.

3. I think a few criminal charges leveled at "Big Oil" is a great
place to start our domestic policy discussion.

4. And I think we've gotten quite good at talking about several things
at once. Multi-tasking!

Good points in your post!
