The repubs are sneaking two social security bills in tomorrow
I went to my first DNC meeting tonight and the social security chairperson reported that the righties are sending up bills tomorrow morning.

S1302 DeMint and S1750 Santorum.

Anyone else hear about this?

5. I'm not so sure
Dorgan said the reason they weren't going through committee was that they didn't have the votes, not even everyone in their own party.

3. The premise is
"Stop raiding the surplus"
and it's a first step towards privatization

7. I figured they were up to no good when Santorum trotted out onto
the Senate floor tonight with his SS poster. Then Dorgan and Milkulski popped up on the floor to remind the repukes who EXACTLY raided the SS fund. Those bastards are unfreakinbelievable. The MAJORITY of Americans are against them dismantling SS OR privatizing it (same as dismantling). WTF are they up to now?

8. If Santorum pushes this more, he will be slaughtered for sure in PA next
year. PA has a higher percentage of old people than most states and the state tilts Dem anyway. He could be slaughtered like no incumbent senator has in a long time.

14. I'll bet this will make santorum
real popular in Pennsylvania! Bob Casey must have plans to expose ricky's passion for stealing our Social Security.
