Tornado in southern indiana
strong like last weeks in Evansville. I am in Bloomington, they had the sirens and then turned them off. I am from Texas and our sirens are extremely powerful, but here they are like a little peep.

5. "TORNADOES TOUCHDOWN! "
Tuesday, November 15th @ 4:23 pm

TORNADOES TOUCHDOWN! A tornado appears to have touched down in southwest Indiana this afternoon. Homes have been damaged in the towns of Washington, Cannelburg, near Loogootee and near Crane. This cell that's likely producing a tornado is moving towards Bloomington, Bedford, Oolitic, and Nashville if it holds together. The threat for long-lived, strong tornadoes is still very high from I-70 south & east.

These storms will move quickly at 50 to 65mph in an east to northeasterly fashion. A cold front is progged to move through later & should be accompanied by a squall-line of storms that will have a high potential of damaging wind up to 70 or 80mph.

Winter air arrives behind the severe weather tonight & Wednesday with temperatures in the 30s and flurries & snow showers. Track the changing weather here & on LWS & 24-HOUR NEWS 8, UPN with continous live updates.
