New Republican Talking Point (via Ed Gillespie): uncooperative Democrats
The latest talking point (I heard it on NPR Talk of the Nation) was given by Ed Gillespie who claimed that Democrats are not being cooperative in the House. This is blatant distortion.

The facts are that the Republicans have been governing from an arrogant "to hell with you" attitude, shutting Representatives from submitting legislation, bottling up measures in committee, inviting lobbyists to write Republican legislation, holding votes open, inserting inappropriate measures into budget bills (ANWR), and much more.

3. Majority in Both Houses...
Why is cooperation from democrats even necessary? Our talking point should be: the republicans are splintered, fractured, leaderless, rudderless, out of ideas, grasping at strawing and running away from a corrupt and incompetent administration as fast as their legs can carry them.

Yo Ed, I have a democratic congressman and I voted for him and sent him to Washington to be uncooperative with your neocon motherfucking agenda. If the dems are not cooperating with you fascist bastards they are making this veteran very happy.

9. let 'em do it
Its the best thing they could do for us... show that Democrats are not longer compliant.... we need to show that we do not belong to or condone the actions of their cabal.

Thanks Gillespie!

16. What?
The Republicans are now claiming that the Democratic Party has a strong backbone and is fed up with the Republican bullshit?

Hmm... Maybe the Republicans will lose even more support, once people learn this news. Keep talking Ed, keep talking.
