6. I contribute a monthly pledge that DU automatically takes out of my

checking account. I feel that covers the quarterly drives.

I do wish I could give you more though. You are are right, this is my home away from home in my home. It's my escape from a husband who does not even want to watch the news and doesn't even vote. DU is the only place online I have found I can vent, give my opinion (right or wrong), joke around, ask opinions, and get the information I know is true.

I come here as soon as my computer turns on, and then most days and/or nights, this is where I stay.

I do wish skinner or his partners could change my membership date. I joined DU on the day of Bush's first coronation. I saw their sign and went immediately to my computer. However, for some reason, my joined date is the date I started contributing money.

Anybody else have their joined date wrong? Have any of you been able to get it changed?
