From the globe and bush's history when in trouble
there was one particular line in the article that had me going... hmm this fits george to a T... he'd walk away from all of this if the price were not so high...

I only went, you know this is a rag and all, but.... Bush tends to do this folks, walk away when things get tough...

I am getting the feel that the bad news is just begining and the scream sheets will be the leading edge.... but this is starting to get the strange feel of Nixon's last days... and a caller to the Bernie Ward show yesterday made the point... The speeches, especially the Vet day one, reminded him of the I am not a crook speech... and after sleeping on it, "mommy, mommy they are rewriting history, they saw the same things I did." He just framed himself as a brat.

1. It feels exactly like Nixon's last days. I remember that era vividly.
He will be gone by August 2006.

3. I don't see how they can keep him going for 3 more years, I just don't
With his pathology. They might have worked out the right combo of physical meds that theoretically could sustain him, but he will implode regardless. It's his nature.

4. Even if he doesn't visibly implode he is too much of a liability
to keep around. They have to eject him before the 2006 elections.

5. And even with that the Pugs are still in trouble
but they have to first get rid of "El Presidente Chenney"

6. Yup, they don't have much chance to keep the Congress.
...unless they cheat that is...

They will have to impeach both Bush and Cheney. Given that the House and Senate leaders will all be in jail by then, the line of succession will be plumbed as never before.
