Vice President Condoleezza Rice

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Scared yet?

2. She's not any scarier than what we have now.
Probably less evil, in fact. Still horrible, but there are degrees of badness.

3. Never. Gonna. Happen.
The 30% of the country that allegedly supports Smirky McCokespoon, will never, ever, EVER vote for a black, woman. They would rather vote for Bill Clinton. The sick, twisted mindset of the mouth-breathing knuckle-draggers that constitute his "base" wouldn't know whether to hate her because she's a woman, or because she's black....

4. A very REAL possibility that might happen after the 2006 election.
Cheney will resign then and the chimp will choose Rice.

6. I think she doesn't have much of a chance
Top Three Far Right Wacko Objections to VP Rice:

1. African American: Not thrilled with it, but we can overlook it because she and her husb-- I mean, she and the President are so chummy.

2. Woman: Not thrilled with that either, because it's the more sinful of the two sexes and responsible for The Fall and all that, but she's cozy with Big Oil and has ships named after her, so we can overlook her Y-chromosome deficiency, too.

3. Single: Stop the presses! She's in her fifties and has never married? That's unnatural! It's ungodly! Might she be one of those? She's unfit to serve!

7. Um... no, I'm not scared?
A) The GOP is the party of racists. Its leaders may or may not be, but they know that a good portion of their base comes from the KKK wing of the Republican Party. As such, they're smart enough not to run Condi.

B) The GOP is the party of chauvinist pigs. (See option A, only replace racism with sexism)

C) Condi don't want the job -- I'm not 100 percent sure of this, of course, but she came from the private sector before the Bush administration, and she'll likely go back there afterward. There's a lot more money to be made.

D) Condi has aligned herself with the losing faction of the current Cheney/Rumsfeld vs. Condi/Powell war. The people who run the party are looney warhawks like Cheney and Rumsfeld. They look at Condi and Powell as traitorous doves. To them, she's on the wrong side of history.

8. No morse so than I already am with Richard "Dick" Cheney.
As for 2008, most bigoted white Republicans would not vote for her, and the African American community is far too savvy to go for her just because, no matter how desperately she tries to rewrite her background, she is black.

9. Let 'em.
Alienate their base with a single African American female. We won't be fooled by such tactics. We hate all criminal warmongers.

10. Absolutely. She is the ONLY person that still has over 50%
approval rating from the * kabal. People just like her so much more than any other neocon, they will be happy to have her. It's going to happen, I firmly believe it.

15. They will absolutely take her

The base allowed Clarence Thomas to be on the Supreme Court.

They are all about power and they do not really see her as African American.

I am African American and while I recognize her ancestry, I think of her as a NeoCon and a gofor for the NeoCons.

Their color is GREEN for money and Power.

Bet you she will be Vice President and she will run, and may win for President.

She will pretend that she has changed but a tiger's stripes don't change.

11. How does she get along
with the other big neocon powerbrokers? We know * fawns all over her, but are there others who will be around after the beginning of 2006?

12. the idea being
that Cheney resigns for '"health" reasons, Condi takes his place so she will be the frontrunner in 2008? The way they are messing up in DC, I'd say it won't work.

13. no not a bit - Ms. Rice is mind bendingly incompetent
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 11:18 AM by Bob3
Which shouldn't surprise anybody look who bloody picked her. And if due to 'Medical' reasons Darth Cheney steps down and they puck Ms. Rice out of her recent obscurity (these days she goes to foreign countries and says things that are ignore by said countries) and make her VP it will be a case of what they call in business "Above Ground Burial" she'll go to funerals and state dinners but once * is out of office her career is over and she'll go back to Yale or some right wing think tank.

I know some RW nitwits have been suggesting Rice as a possible candidate but they aren't serious. They are trying to say "look we're not bigots". IT's s stunt they aren't even serious about.

And even if Ms. Rice did decide to run, she has major flaws as a candidate. One of which is *. Nobody is going to be able to look at her and not think of her ex boss - and with *'s approval rating in the toilet and the rest of the GOP sneaking away from him it would be a lonely job defending *'s legacy.

And let's not forget Ms. Rice her self, she has several notible character flaws and even under the gentlest of questioning she becomes brittle and defensive. She lacks even superfical charm and she obviously shares the * family lack of empathy. And to the best of my knowledge She's never held elective office. Running for president would be a hell of big first step.

If fact Rice running would be a good thing for our side. Her crash and burn during the primaries would only help.

14. So basically all you say
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 12:06 PM by Stockholm
is that Condie won´t be elected because the GOP base is racist, female hating, biggots.

What about her being a peddler of lies and a terrorist enabler?
