Lieberman selling out LIVE on CSpan2...
Going with the John Warner Amendment and against the Levin Amendment.

He's saying that partisanship should end at the water's edge.

Hey Joe, SHUT THE HELL UP!

Now he's saying that it's more important to try to figure out how we get out.

Yes, it's important Joe. But EQUALLY important is to figure out HOW we got there. God Dammit Joe.

Lieberman is now going against a timetable to leave Iraq. Jesus H. Christ!!!

9. She co-sponsored the original Dem amendment
that they are now discussing. On this issue, she is leading with the Dems who want a timetable and a change of policy in Iraq.

18. Sadly, I think he wins re-election easily
If I'm not mistaken, the only real primary challenger to him bowed out of the primary fight due to lack of funds, and I have not yet heard of anyone else entering the fray.

Connecticut residents - please correct me if I am wrong on this.

17. Joe has more personal influence this way.
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 11:22 AM by Marr
That's all it is. He's like Britain going along with the US invasion of Iraq; if they'd stood with the EU and opposed the invasion, they would've been just one more voice in a multitude of EU voices. But if they backed the US, they would have more influence both within the EU, as the broker to the US, and within the US, as the broker to the EU.

I suspect Lieberman is just doing his usual thing and putting Joe before everything else.

21. I wish he'd change parties. It'd be the right thing to do.
He hasn't spoken on the peoples' behalf in a very long time, if ever.
