How well are the Democrats responding to the Bush Administration's Counterattack?

I think the media is doing a better job debunking Dubya than the Dems...maybe the Dems think they can lay in the weeds and let the media do the debunking?

The issue is not whether Saddam was a bad guy, or whether Clinton thought so also, but precisely how Bush abused intelligence and the process. There is not enough focus on the fact that weapons inspectors were in Iraq when Bush started the invasion. There is not enough focus on the lies told relating Saddam to Al Qaeda, which frankly were more contrived on less basis than those with regard to WMD, and which also are more important, because they were the basis for Congress's authorization of the use of force.

8. These are important points that you make and ones that seem

to be completely ignored by the media. Bush forced the weapons inspectors to leave Iraq before they had completed their mission. If he had let them finish their inspections, the world would have known that Saddam did not have the WMD's that Bush was using as his main reason for invasion. After the invasion, he would not allow the U.N. to restart their inspections, but had the Iraqi Survey Group look for WMD's. They couldn't find them either, because they were not there. The other reasons he gave, links to terrorists and spreading democracy, were just window dressing.

I think it might be too soon to say much meaningful; I see somethings I like; but i don't think our counter attack to their counter attack is done yet.

It's a little bit like taking the lid off the pot to see if the water is boiling.

I'd say a 6 or so right now; but I expect that number to climb.

5. They're counterattacks have been 7-10, but since media won't discuss their

efforts you have to take a few points away.

Media doesn't WANT American people to even know the Democrats have an Iraq withdrawal plan on the table.
