Rude Advice To Democrats: Resistance Is an Agenda:
Resistance is an agenda. It's simply explained: hey, the bag of douche Republicans won't even allow Democratic ideas to be debated, so we're gonna filibuster the shit out of these assholes on most of their extreme shit and force compromise or implosion. And if you wanna have new ideas, then get rid of these crazy motherfuckers who want to wreck the country for this strange, endless utopian vision they have that they can't really explain to the rest of us.

Resistance leaders are revered as heroes in other nations, especially when they take on a monolithic, seemingly undefeatable opponent. Their rewards are power with which they can then either imitate the foul leaders just ousted or forge a new bond with the average citizen

3. We need both though
I think we need to make it clear that hte Republican ideas are well worth resisting. But, on the other hand, we also need to present our own vision of what American could be.

Resisting might keep people from voting Republican; but presenting our own vision will help them vote for us.

That's my opinion anyway.

5. Right, resistance is a necessary tactic, but Dems can't campaign on it.
I've always thought the Brits do a better job of keeping a shadow government going, always ready to respond with an alternative.

4. A Democrat can't go very wrong to oppose....
..every single thing proposed and supported by the Republicans. No matter how innocuous or reasonable any bill or amendment sounds, if a Republican wrote it, you can be sure there's something nasty about it.

Even something seemingly as noble as the McCain anti-torture push. Why isn't there punitive measures for those in the Chain of Command included? Who will exercise oversight?

It's smoke and mirrors. If you believe anything any Republican says without fact checking it and vetting it 10 ways, you are chump.
