strong statement? I am glad they finally did it, but folks as it is the case throughout most of history... Politicians rarely lead, they follow... look at the polls. It is finally safe...

Am I glad they did it? You betcha, but remember this, we are here and now because of our effort... they will follow and rarely are politicians lead anything.

1. May I state my case? We were all told
a pack of lies by this admin. You were on either side, to choose to belive what was said or not to believe.
Kudos to all those that weren't fooled, but many of us, including our politicians, believed what we were told.
I was one, for awhile, and believed it for awhile.
But for crying out loud, GET OVER IT. OK, you're smart, I'm not, nor are many people that gave this admin the benefit of the doubt.

2. no, no that is not the point
look at most popular movements in this country... usually they are LED by the people, and politicos step in when it is finally safe

Read Howard Zinn, you will get what I mean

In this particular case I know exactly how they got where they got, as I have talked to a US Senator.

But as usual it is the people who lead... and by the way, in a system of government where we are the government and they work for us... it is to a point the way it should be.

7. How could you give these liars the benifit of the doubt when they have
ALWAYS had the track record to prove otherwise - for all to see!

And it was NOT hard to find.

All you had to do is PAY ATTENTION to what they said between one day and the next - WELL BEFORE THE 2000 SELECTION!

I am glad you finally CHOSE to see the TRUTH, but for god's sake, it was always there!

WE WILL NEVER GET OVER IT!

Glad you finally got off your ass and started to pay attention.

8. getting over it...
solves nothing. if you get "over it" and just push it aside, it can happen again and it shouldn't. if you ignore something like this you give the crooks and corrupters the power that they want and they shouldn't have that power.

it is about keeping the opposition on check, making sure they dont abuse their power and when they do making sure that american citizens are aware of this abuse of power. us citizens do not have the ability to vote for war or against war, but we can vote for and against the politicians who vote of war or mislead us into war or hide evidence from our politicans we support for whatever scheme or plan they have.

getting over it is a sign of weakness and the power hungry idiots feed off the weak.

3. Ding, Ding, Ding!!!
I'm glad they did it too, but you are indeed correct. Those devil poll numbers made 'em do it.

I get the visual of a package of weenies dressed up in Superman capes.

5. yes and this means we have to be calling them
on a weekly basis, if not a couple times a week to let them know what they need to be doing. I had a congress staffer tell me they really don't get that much input from their constituency. (?) So let's give them alot.

I once asked a staffer, I am not kiddng, are the inmamtes now in charge of the asylum? That got a 30 second silence on the other side of the line.
