OMG, Avery allegedly had evidence of torture on his computer.
What is going on with the investigation? Why are they releasing everyting to the press?

Now the media says the investigators have seized dog shit from the Avery property...

The implication is someone fed someone else to the dog.

I am NOT supporting Avery, but this is the strangest reporting on a criminal investigation I have ever experienced in Wisconsin, and we have had some weird (think Jeffrey Dahmer) shit go down.

2. Wisconsin man wrongly convicted of rape and spent 18 years in jail.
Now he is accused of murder.

6. Was his fiance a surgeon?
Or is this a typo?

His fiance "is serving a jail term for operating while intoxicated".

10. You have to admit it excites the story up a lot
if she is a surgeon. And a drunk one. :)

3. Avery was released from prison after DNA evidence proved his innocence
He is now the focus of a sex crime/murder investigation in Manitowoc Wisconsin.

He claims he is being framed by police. The police are releasing way more details than typical for such an investigation.

7. Since you're there, maybe you can answer a question . . .
As I was listening to the news, they commented that he was already being held for a weapons violation -- because he was a former felon he isn't supposed to have a gun.
If he was exonerated for the rape, does he have some other kind of rap sheet they're not talking about? Or did they simply release him from prison, but still consider him a parolee?
Do you know?

8. It is my understanding that he was in trouble several times prior
to his now overturned conviction. One story is he ran someone off thet road, and another is about killing a cat. There could be more, I don't know.

Frankly I am astounded by the revelations. Typically this stuff is saved for the court room.

11. oh. thank you.
Clears up that small bit -- the rest is a mystery, but they're not covering it so much out where I am.
I am getting tired of folks being tried in the media. They're convicted before they hit the courthouse steps. And now they want to put cameras in the Supreme Court chambers. If I thought it was about enlightening the public, fine. Somehow, I don't think that's the real intent.
sigh.
