So I went out and go the Globe
Was curious how they were going to cover this story... and apart of the fact the tenter tantrums are there... one thing CAUGHT my eye... the old photo in black and white of good ol' george boozing it up... now that is a photo the Bush Clan has tried to get out of circulation for years... so I thought to myself, who never buys these mags... this is what the base will be seeing... this photo... and the story... well the old line, it is me or Jim Bean was there (first we saw it in the Enquirer) They also made a point of reminding their readers that the two kids are drinking and walked on eggshells telling us that Barbara is the one with the pants in the clan.

Is it credible? Who knows... does this fall under the rumors from the palace that usually do some damage in the public image department by the regulars? You betcha...

I wish they had put in some more of them old photos, but the one they did... is truly a must see... and in freeper land that will NOT play well...

Oh and I did know a regular of those rags. When I was in college I was the student aide to a blind instructor. She had a PhD and all, but she still ate them like candy... yes I used to read them to her every week, both the Star and the Globe and at times the Enquirer... I am sad to say but she was in what would be the base today... and this is why I am smiling after readying the story... it is people like her (no, not because of the blindness but the blind belief in these mags) that will start to have doubts about Bush now...

Overall if you can just read it at the counter... but do read it, so if your freeperish neighbor who relies on this one for news asks questions you can use this to start seeding even more doubt.

;-)

1. His breakdown was caused by Clinton.
Take your pick as to which Clinton.

2. You'd be amazed but the article does not make
any references to bug boys, clinton or anything like that. They just concentrated on polls and war time casualties... now that last one had me going... remorse over dead troops? Yeah right, until my husband pointed out, not the dead troops, his marketablity after the WH and his legacy.

So even on that one they may have a point... but serious it actually read like, almost an AP release... and no clinton, not even in the previosu, or next page or the issue.

3. Oh and now that I read West Wing, was reminded of it
guess where accrding to the Globe George is turning to learn how to become a president? No, not the Presidency for Dummies, but the West Wing... now that one had me laughing HARD...
