As if it should just be assumed that we all want Bush to succeed and be popular again.

Well we don't, and I for one want to see his whole presidency fail, in part so that the people of this country can be taught a lesson.

We constantly have to out up with these stories about what Bush can do to turn it around. How Bush can change the course of his presidency. How Bush can go after his mean critics. How Bush can better connect with the American people.

It reminds me of how the sportswriters behave when the LA Lakers are losing in the playoffs. Then the stories are all about what the Lakers can do to turn it around. How the Lakers can change their momentum. What went on in the Lakers locker room at halftime? Little attention is ever paid to why the Pistons or whatever team are winning. It's almost as if it's a fluke.

1. Sick of them! And btw, *can't come back...Katrina, illegal war, lies
gas prices, inflation, housing bubble burst, indictments, rove under suspicion, ad nauseum. There's nowhere for him to go but down.

I'm just so sad that in many ways, we all go down with him.

2. I agree and disagree. Shit!!!! I'm Arguing with myself! LOL
I agree with what you say completely, and yet disagree at the same time because every time I hear a talking head speak to how much a failure * is viewed as right now, I get a wicked grin on my face knowing I have yet another day to throw it in the face fucking freepers.

3. Not at all.
I'm glad that people are being constantly reminded of his lousy polling numbers.

I hope it goes on for a long time, actually.

8. I'm with you.
I remember a spate of "How can Nixon rebound?" articles in the early days of Watergate.

5. Here's how Bush can turn it around.
Bring back the 2,060 who died for his lies and restore sight to the ones he blinded and limbs to the disfigured.

Then resign.

-started the day Libby got indicted, when Bush had his "really bad week",and will continue as long as main stream media is an extension of the Bush administration.

12. Proper Question: What will the VOTERS do, now that Bush has been exposed?
Edited on Mon Nov-14-05 11:00 PM by TwentyFive
What can Bush do to turn it around? This is an insult to any rational person's thinking. It's like asking what can Ken Lay do to turn Enron around. Sheesh!!!

Bush has been a crook and incompetent from the get go....stolen elections, cronyism, lies, cover-ups, corruption, etc. You don't 'come back' from that....you get sent away.

14. I didn't like the story coming from capitalhillblue..
If America is attacked AGAIN Dimson would have a better chance at re-
capturing that "Bullhorn Moment", once again back in the good graces of the GOP party, the party of FEAR.If that memo is credible look for
an attack long before the 06'election,the crime family will need time
to adjust the populace to "Martial Law".Could it happen ? Weapons grade anthrax, suitcase nukes, derailing a train carrying chlorine gas,
smallpox, bird flu,all occurring simultaneously.Wow !!!!Would they do it?
I bet faster than Halliburton could steal a billion $$$$

16. Yeah--because
there's no story there. He can't come back. He shouldn't come back. He's failed and that's all there is to it. Ain't no pity in the nekkid city.

18. NO! Bush's only strength is that the bar has been set so low for him.
I want to hear overandoverandover exactly he can make a "comeback" so when he doesn't his failure won't be written off.
