Those "Dirty tricks" that were done to McCain in 2000?
based on his behavior of the past couple of years i'm beginning to think his own campaign did them, taking a page right from the Atwater books, dirty trick yourself and blame it on the opposition.

1. No, it was *. I don't vote for repubs under any circumstances.
In 2000 I was curious what he was like since I met Texans who thought he did a good job. They were in NC compaigning. * showed up at Bob Jones Univ and did a speech. He was on the news stories saying that everyone had the right to hear him talk. He won. Then there were stories of African Americans having trouble at the polls. Next day was Michigan I think. One of those northern states. * was on TV saying he made a big mistake talking at Bob Jones U and he's sorry and it won't happen again. I didn't hear about McCain getting screwed until later.

Well, it's pretty obvious what kind of guy * and the repubs were after that primary. The only suprise is I and most people didn't think this clown could possibly be as bad as he is. Didn't realize the right wing had plans in place for years.

3. Yes, that is confusing. Either he's being blackmailed, had a stroke,
or is being promised the pres or vp nomination next time.

5. I don't think so-I have a video cilp from last year of Cindy McCain
on Topic A with Tina Brown and although she was smiling during the interview, you could see she was angry about what the Bush's did.

7. Thats how ''Bush's Brain'' Karl rove works.
Karl Rove has been behind every dirty trick that the republicans have come up with for GW. It started in Texas when Bush ran for Governor, letters placed on windshields of fundie church members the sunday before elections with RW lies on them about things like the other side had an abortion or the were closet gays or anything else that would enrage fundies into action. Or phone calls made by unknown people that tell them that the other side had a dark secret and if the person wasn't stopped religious freedoms were going to take a hit.
