3. Dems must respond quickly. We believed the hype the President put out.
Don't criticize us now for believing that the President would not mislead us.

4. It's outrageous that he's using our military for partisan politics!!!
Edited on Mon Nov-14-05 07:07 PM by DeepModem Mom
Talking about senior "Democrat" Senators' statements, and being cheered by our troops??? Does a President use our military like this? Has it been done before?

14. Well every president uses the military for that crap, BUT
with Bush, it's worse because of how he's treated them. Now he's forcing them to cheer and applaud him (don't think they are doing this of their own free will.)

7. NBC made a very good point.
Said Dems who were presidential contenders were the most reluctant to vote against the war.

They put their careers ahead of their country, ahead of the LIVES of Americans.

They want to pretend they aren't tainted by that gutless vote. We want to pretend they aren't tainted...It was cowardly and they stink of it.

9. his counter-offensive is embarrassing
it's he who is trying to rewrite history. He is coming off like Nixon during the dark days of Watergate or LBJ during Vietnam when he proclaimed, "Make no mistake--we will prevail!"

12. Anyone remember when you were a kid:
and you fooled someone and then said "Psych!"?

Since I made it up, and you bought it, the problem is that you bought it and not that I made it up. Logical fallacy. Man behind the curtain. Hey, look over there.
