If the Dems win back the House & Senate in 06 Bush is impeached
Almost as fast as a New York minute, Clinton is impeached over lying about a BJ. This fool for a president is responsible for the deaths of countless thousands upon thousands either dead or wounded and he skates?

1. Maybe...
It depends on which Democrats.

Certainly, we can at least put a halt to the Bush agenda if we take back either House. To me, that's the most important thing -- making sure not one more of his idiot ideas gets foisted on the American people. And then, we start to undo the damage caused.

If we can at least take back either House, we can do that much.

to be held to them.

3. We'll win, hands down, IF evoting machines are tossed in the garbage.

Or, at the very least, have paper receits! THAT issue must be dealt with, ASAP. You're right. He WILL BE impeahed.

4. IF evoting machines are tossed in the garbage? - that's a tough call
The GOP would need to rely on voter fraud again more then ever to pull off keeping both the House & Senate...! I can just see Bush now Bush not showing up endorsing any GOP candidates because it was requested!!!

5. Not likely
They'll be spending their time trying to right this country from the wrongs of Republican corruption. Hopefully first to do with voting machines.

Bush will be a punching bag, which is his true calling for America's benefit.

Besides, who takes his place? Cheney? Hastert? You've got to understand that the rest of these Republicans are as ideologically rancid as Bush is. They haven't been a moderating force on this administration, they've been teammates.

6. The Dems don't have the spine to impeach Bush.
Take that to the bank. Unless their is an absolutely undeniable
"smoking gun" for a crime, they will not even get close to impeachment. Even then, I doubt it.

Remember when Reagan was caught up to his crooked eyeballs in Iran/Contra? The Dems had more than enough evidence to impeach and convict him. But, Biden and other DINO's made a secret agreement with the Repugs that the joint congressional committee "investigating" Iran/Contra would never go after Reagan and not pursue possible Oval Office crimes.

Our side doesn't fight like their side. We're too "nice".

7. hello??? . . . did you see the recent referenda results in Ohio? . . .
BushCo still owns the voting machines, and BushCo corporations still tabulate the votes . . . the chances of the Democrats winning back either the House or the Senate in 2006 are ZERO as long as this remains the case . . . and with a Republican Congress, this is certainly going to remain the case . . .

8. While I Think Gee Dubya Deserves Impeachment...
Imagining Gee Dubya Bush being impeached is now a pleasant fantasy for me, too. While I have come to believe that Gee Dubya richly deserves to be impeached, I don't think that impeaching him would be worthwhile unless there's a certain-sure 2/3 majority in the US Senate to send him off in disgrace.

Unfortunately, the Republican Party is likely to have enough presence left in 2007 to make impeachment a no-win situation. While I'm sure that the Democrats are likely to pick up seats and, Divine Providence willing, enough seats in one Congressional chamber or the other, or both, to obtain a majority, there won't be the super majority necessary to send Buckaroo Bush packing.
