1. Send food. You lead by example, not by threats.

3. That's how Berlin was kept
And it remained a beacon of democracy surrounded by oppression. And lot's of bad PR for the dictators.

5. A REAL CHRISTIAN would send food, just to feed the poor!
This so-called Christian nation attaches strings! I guess, I did and will have to answer this with the stupid question "What would Jesus do?".

6. I see some things out there saying NKers are starving to death, but what
exactly are the circumstances? Is Kim playing at being Mao?

7. I still cant help but think we should do more than just give them food...
The DPRK is one of the (if not THE) most repressed countries in the history of this planet. The level of starvation there might shock Mao, the cult of personality exceeds Stalin's, and the brutal camps are almost on par with Hitler's.

If there is ever a place that needed to be liberated, it is them. If you don't feel the same way, I'd suggest reading more into the details of that Orwellian Hell.

This is a place where you could lose your life if you do not keep your mandatory pictures of the Kim's in proper order, a place where forgetting to put on your Kim pin is like forgetting to put on your head, it is a place where trial (always guilty) and executions happen in public in a manner of minutes.

10. Well first off...
I seriously doubt we have the ability to defeat the regime single handidly, much less manage it afterwards (such a task would require most the world). In any event, its probably too late, as they most likely have nukes. (ie we should have done something about this place long before now).

I wouldnt know if special forces type operations would be effective here either. I wouldnt be suprised if the whole country would utterly fall apart (relative to how far apart it is now) if the handful of the top leaders were removed.

11. Sounds like the Bush Iraq! Should we Liberate them too!
Yes, in the USA, you too can starve, but without a pin in the right place, at least for now!
