Says Abortion Issue Raised Only to Rally Evangelical Right
11/09/2005
It has been a widely held belief on the left that the Republican Party preys on the moral convictions of Christian evangelicals during election years to cynically gain their votes and take their money. Now it's been confirmed.

It's carrot-and-stick politics of the first order. Good people of faith being milked for their political contributions and volunteer efforts during election years only to be denied their reward in the off-season. It's time for Christians to start voting for their own economic interests and the interests of the nation. Stop carrying water for a corrupt political party that regards you as nothing more than an ATM manned by a bunch of "wackos."
