It has been a widely held belief on the left that the Republican Party preys on the moral convictions of Christian evangelicals during election years to cynically gain their votes and take their money. Now it's been confirmed.

Good people of faith being milked for their political contributions and volunteer efforts during election years only to be denied their reward in the off-season. It's time for Christians to start voting for their own economic interests and the interests of the nation. Washington is 50 miles west of St. Louis, pop. 13,900...I cannot tell if this is an LTTE or a regular article, but it's the first newspaper story on this I've been able to Google up. Yipee!
