Jordan says would-be bomber arrested
Jordan says would-be bomber arrested
The triple bomb blasts killed 57 people

Jordan has announced the arrest of a woman who was part of the team of bombers who carried out the attacks on Amman hotels last week but failed to detonate her explosives.

Deputy Prime Minister Marwan Moasher told a news conference on Sunday that the woman, who was to have been a fourth bomber, would appear on Jordanian television to explain details of the attacks that killed 57 people.

The woman is suspected of being involved in the preparation of the attack on the Radisson SAS hotel, one of three hit in Wednesday's bombings that have sharply jolted Jordan, one of the most stable countries in the Middle East.

"She took part in preparing an attack by her husband on the Radisson Hotel by bringing explosives into the hotel," another Jordanian official said.

Moasher identified the woman as Sajida Mubarak al-Rishai and said she was the sister of a key aide to al-Qaida's Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a fugitive Jordanian who is Iraq's most wanted man.

3. Hmmmm. Osama is supposedly hiding out in the caves
still... but you would think they would be able to at least pinpoint the general area.

Hey, but don't worry, I am sure they will be able to get valuable info by torturing someone about this. That has worked so well so far -let's continue to wait another 2-3 years for that angle to work, shall we? :eyes:

4. "would-be" bomber - would she have gotten 72 virgins?
I don't believe half of what officials are claiming.

5. I'm with you
How is it that one is caught and will soon tell all. The bombers were all from Iraq- accoding to King Abdullah of Jordan and are all Al Qaeda and followers of Zarqawi, the elusive, reincarnating boogeyman from hell. Smells fishy!
