Colin Powell:more loyal to Bush family than he was to the country
Ann Wright is a retired Army colonel and former U.S. State Department official who was among the group of diplomats who publicly resigned in protest of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March of 2003. More recently, Ann was the "commandant" of Camp Casey in Crawford.

Here is a snippet from the lengthy interview:

Tragically, Colin Powell, who was trying to counsel Donald Rumsfeld behind the scenes that there weren't enough troops in Iraq, never stood up to say, "Hold it, guys, I'll resign if we don't get this under control so that logical functions go in logical organizations and you, the Defense Department, don't do post-combat civil reconstruction stuff. That's ours." He just didn't do it. To me, he was more loyal to the Bush family than he was to the country. His resignation was possibly the one thing that could have deterred the war. Then the people of America would really have looked closely at what was going on. But tragically he decided loyalty to the administration was more valuable than loyalty to the country. I mean, it breaks my heart to say that, but it's what really happened.

2. I believe he is the one person...
that might have been able to stop the war. At the very least he could have put a serious dent in the plans and that might have been enough for other people to notice and object to what was happening.

I remember in fall of 2002 when i heard the first rumblings of war... I thought, Colin Powell will not let them continue with this nonsense. Unfortunately he had a huge part in our going to Iraq.

He was held in such high esteem, no one believed that Colin Powell would never deceive us.

3. he is loyal to one thing--Colin Powell
period

he is as foul an excuse for a human being as the rest of the vermin in the bushturd's gang. He is (and always was) a narcissistic oportunist with zero care for anything except his own self aggrandizement.

7. Everyone who still supports the man and his mission has been more loyal
to the Bush family than to the country IMHO considering all that has come down and to light. If a few good men had come to the aid of their country, the man and his dream could have been stopped in their tracks.
