Suspicious package contained brain in jar (in CA)
Suspicious package contained brain in jar

By Jannise Johnson, Staff Writer
Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

EASTVALE - The Riverside County Hazardous Device Team members run across many unusual items in the course of their work. But on Thursday afternoon, they uncovered something that really made them think.

The team discovered a brain submerged in liquid and encased in a duct-taped jar after answering a call of a suspicious package around 3 p.m., said Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy Craig Roberts. Deputies responded to the call at Oakdale Street near Merry Meadows Drive, near Harada Elementary School, Roberts said.

(snip)

The brain and the liquid in which it was immersed is scheduled to be analyzed by the Riverside County Coroner's Department next week, Roberts said. It is not yet known if the brain is human or animal, he said.

The package did not have an explosive device inside, Roberts said. Hazardous materials personnel from the fire department also examined the contents and determined they were not dangerous.

(snip)

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Riverside County Sheriff's Jurupa Valley station at (951) 955-2600.

7. California, eh?
That wasn't a brain -- it was Der Gropenator's bipolar testicles being delivered to him by the voters of Californee... although I can understand why one might confuse Arnold's brain for his nuts.
