Evidence of Tom Flocco as a Freeper?

http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/album/index.php?8

Lo and behold, the Freeper Family Album!!! On this page, a picture of a "Tom Flocco" is listed here. Could it be the same Flocco reputed for offbeat and dubious "breaking stories"?

BTW, have fun checking out the faces behind the Freeper names.

1. Interesting observation - I have seen that name before
That photo album is bizarre - like looking into the face of evil itself...

2. It's doubly ironic that Flocco is listed here
given his heavily anti-Bush stories (purported to be very far-fetched or outright BS).

8. Indeed
I've been checking the pictures and pages of some of the physically attractive Freeper women (personality attractiveness is another story, mind you). Check out the other pages (from A to T), and you'll see some more of the same. What I see so far is an intense and even passionate but deeply naive world view. I see the need to believe in an utmost "just" world where it's USA the good run by "godly" folks like Bush in opposition to evil or degenerates (that threaten the sanctity of that world view).

grips with the fact that embracing an oversimplified world view is delusional and detrimental. And the longer it takes to embrace all of lives gray areas and complexities, the harder that jump is to make. I think at some time in all our lives, we all were that type of person... sincere, naive... and thats why it is easy to spot that life view. All this analysis aside, I agree, THERE ARE SOME SERIOUSLY ATTRACTIVE FREEPER WOMAN.

12. If you look at some of their non-political interests
you can see some common ground (e.g., animal rights & Harry Potter) that could make for some fun casual dates...until politics rears its ugly head ;)

You are right about the common ground areas of interest.

15. That's an idea, but
I suspect many from both sides would rather gargle broken glass than to partake in that exchange program.

Now...if we could have a Survivor-like show with each tribe having both FR & DU folks, that could be fascinating to watch.

17. How about a realtime Survivor scenario?
No...better yet, let's make it a Lost scenario. The objective would not be to vote someone out, but to endure the company of each other with no long-term escape over an extended period of time. You'll have to excuse me...it's the social psychologist in me. I reckon that if I proposed this experiment before the ethics board, it'll be soundly rejected as utterly unethical as the Milgram experiments!

22. Dont apologize. Keep riffing. This is how brilliant ideas are born.
But why go before ethics board at all? There is a longstanding tradition of secret experimentation in this country. All we need is funding and a cover name.

14. Speaking of naive, "godly" freeper folks
I found this song on the page of a nice looking freeper guy.

http://www.russlee.com/ra/lwib_gwbush.ram

I was looking at the faces of those misguided freepers while listening to it and I actually started to feel a little sympathy. Music really has a way of creating affinity.

Lends a little more credence to the "theory" that the rumour mongers are the real freeper plants.

This link was actually sent to me by another DUer a little while ago and I forgot about it-I'm so ashamed...

27. Because Tom Flocco appeals to their dreams or fears
Look how rabidly anti-Bush his latest "reports" have been. They want his posts to be true as "evidence" of Bush & co being the main players in the most juicy conspiracy theories ever. Unfortunately, too many forget to visit the Reality Check centre in order to ground themselves. It's fun to face the possibility of your wildest dream coming true, but more often than not, tis not the case.

and it's a refernce to the band, but do you know about the 'Mr Bungle' incident at LambdaMOO?

It's certainly an odd moniker to choose though given it's cyberspace history.

20. Who needs TV when you got the internet
I've never used MUD but knew of quite a few MUD users from the mid 1990's. That's a hell of a story, and too believably real as quite a number of cyber predators have ravaged a number of internet communities back then.

Since most of these idoits are too cowardly to fight for anything they supposedly believe in or support, bpilgrim will win by default.

19. In Tom Flocco's own words:
"I am a long-time freeper who spoke at both rallies in WashDC during the impeachment period. I sued President Clinton in 1997 to stop the illegal payment of my insurance company's funds to defend the President's uncoverable sexual harrassment case via Flocco v. Clinton, Bennett, and State Farm Insurance in the Paula Jones legal fees matter via my attorney Larry Klayman and Judicial Watch."

...yet, some of those freepers need to take a big glance in the mirror when they start attacking females on the left, based on looks.

And, just DAMN! Some of those guys look their pics were taken off of the local PD's sex-offender website.

33. Tell me about it
and in fact, some may be nice people for the most part. My favourite cousins and their mother were Bush voters (for sure in 2000, but not sure if one cousin did vote for him in 2004). You'd think they were good and fun company. If politics did come up, I don't think my female cousin would hold it against you for thinking differently. As for my male cousin, he wouldn't make a scene but may deem you as having "fucked" values (depends on which phase in life he's in). As for my aunt, she'd either pretend this "political difference" didn't happen or really get into your face. But none of them would go off the deep end like the typical diehard freeper. Those freepers would make for a very interesting study!
