Bush Takes Aim At Iraq Critics - the stench of rove over & over & over...
(CBS/AP) President Bush fired back at critics of the war in Iraq on Friday, accusing them of trying to rewrite history and charging that their actions "send the wrong signal to our troops."

1. Yes it stinks of KKKarl
but it's not going to work anymore. The Kool Aid had a lifespan apparently of 4.5 years, 2 billion in war costs and the inestimable cost of American, British, Afghani and Iraqi lives and any of the other countries who lost soldiers for foolishly going along with *. I really don't think anyone can dig * out of this dungheap and I don't think Rove is out of the woods yet legally either.

4.  Veterans Day speech was absurd on two points - a.) It was Veterans' Day,
fer crying out loud. - Really inappropriate time and place for such a bellicose speech and b.) It was a campaign speech! - Sounded like Busboy and Rove had lost the election and wanted to rerun their slight of hand advocacy for the Iraq war.

Ignoring the national embarrassment of a President using Veterans Day commemorations this way, the second point is telling. They know they won the election and are losing the war they ran on.

Sad state of affairs when no one in the Administration is willing to show some accountability.

5. i was a disgusting display, i've long since grown weary of his use...
of our armed forces as a back-drop for his ravings, and now especially on V-Day. it shows just how callous this group of chicken-hawks really are imo

6. One trick pony.
The man is incapable of human emotion, of empathy or sympathy. He is shallow, vapid, not real smart, mean, vindictive.

"...uniter not a divider..." perhaps no bigger lie, no greater misrepresentaion has ever been spoken in American politics. He has earned his place in infamy. Blood on his hands, his helpless lost look during the 20 minutes in the grade school after being informed of 9/11 will ever be his image in my mind: lost, befuddled, terrified of having to do something of a nature he could not imagine.
