The sound of thunder

If you sit very still, you can feel the vibration of the earth under you. If you put your ear to the ground, you can hear the heavy thumping sounds in the distant. If you look to the horizon, you can see a large cloud of dust rising above the mountains. It looks and sounds like a stampeding herd of elephants. They have no sense of direction. They are snorting crazy.
