Ahmad Chalabi IS in Washington DC today??? To meet with Conde Rice
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 06:17 PM by spanone
Tell me I'm in some fucking nightmare.

WASHINGTON -- Ahmad Chalabi, Iraq's deputy prime minister, will meet with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Wednesday in a visit that would have been unimaginable two years ago.

"He is an official and a representative of the government of Iraq," State Department spokesman Adam Ereli said in explaining Rice's decision to meet with the Shiite leader.

6. Unbelievable.
Wasn't this guy completely discredited, and suspected of being an Iranian spy, just a couple of months ago? Man, they've got the memory hole working overtime these days.
