The Vice President can only be removed via impeachment, resignation, or death.

actually, that is not exactly true. Bush does make up his mind and makes his decisions. The key is how to feed him the proper DVD at the right time so you get the decision he wants.

He doesn't read. He does not research. He does not look into details. He is even more hands off than Reagan (as hard to believe as that is).

Cheney, Rove, Rice, Hughes and Card compete for his ear and his DVD player. They know fool well the primacy and recency are critically important to Bush, and everything is the middle is a muddle. That is why those folks intensely hate each other, especially with Rove winning more often than not.
