Cornyn: "Americans could face the human toll of the September 11 attacks"

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/11/08/iraq.intel/

<snip>

Republicans hit back by accusing Democrats of trying to score political points off continuing American losses in Iraq and of undermining support for U.S. troops.

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said Americans could face the human toll of the September 11 attacks "over and over and over again" if the United States withdrew prematurely from Iraq.

"I hope the members of this body who have politicized this issue by making false allegations of manipulation of intelligence would realize their allegations only serve to divide the American people and undermine critical American resolve to finish the important work we are about in Iraq," Cornyn said.

I guess Scotty is not the only one that gets some kind of commission if he invokes 9/11?

2. Hey, Cornyn, once we're in WWIII, how many are going to die?
Cuz this administration's "policies" are gonna get us there eventually.

3. American's may very well face the human toll of 9-11 "over and over...
... and over again".

But it won't be because we "withdrew prematurely from Iraq". It will be because we invaded Iraq in the first place!

4. Let me get this straight
If we remove a major rallying point for the majority of moderate Middle Easterners against the US, we'll face many more '9-11's'?

Silly me, I figured if we stopped funneling money to dictators and puppet revolutionaries, we would see fewer 9-11s. My mistake.

I love Republican fuzzy logic.

5. As when most Republicans speak..
.... one is left with the puzzling question.

"Is that person an idiot or does s/he think I am?"

6. explain to me this logic please?
Are they going to be so mad at us for leaving that they will attack us???

Or is the logic that somehow we are controlling all the terrorists in Iraq? (in spite of ignoring the fact that there are always attacks going on)

How many times do i have slam my head against the wall to be stupid enough to comprehend this logic???
