Waiting On The Short Bus To Ethics School. "Hey Kid! Got Lunch Money?"
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 01:42 PM by DistressedAmerican
I couldn't sit idly by and let "Ethics School" pass by without a comment of some sort.

Nice move! That will win back the support that you never deserved in the first place! Was that a Karl?

What a freaking riot!:applause:  :woohoo:

1. To image kids that used to get to eat, to be told now...sorry
To be told, sorry kid, we don't care if you don't eat, now get out of the line.

Shameful. Disgusting really.

Hey, I know how we could save 40 billion dollars a year. End the war on drugs. That's how much it's estimated to cost. Forty billion dollars a year on an effort that fails every year and incarcerates more Americans than any other nation on earth. Forty billion dollars a year that DOESN'T EVEN WORK! Think about it. That is just the cost, it doesn't begin to count how much we might save in the damage that wouldn't be done and lives that wouldn't be ruined, saving in trial costs and prison costs and who knows how many others.

Forty billion dollars a year.

...no, let's just starve the kids. I guess it's quicker.

It's all about priorities. Nothing to do with funding, lack of funding, or "abuse" of any programs. Nothing to do with liberal spending or conservative values. Priorities now are all the wars. We war, and we war and we war, and, we pay for it.

Bastards, aren't they?

2. Completely inexcusable. They Always Start With The Social Programs.
But, they can't find enough money to build prisons for the criminals they help create.

Counter productive policies are the stock and trade of this administration! Hell take a look at Iraq. Making terrorists by the vehicle borne IED full!

War on this and war on that. Sickening.

3. And the cuts they make to those "abused" social programs
won't make a DAMN bit of difference in reducing the deficit. But they WILL actively hurt people that depend on those programs. And they're probably only doing it to distract Dems from the treason.

Complete fabrications, every repub rationale.

Know what I want? I want lie detectors. Bastards.

Nothing wrong at all with making fun of the mentally handicapped, as long as it hurts Bush right?

Gheesh.

And if you must know, my daughter rides the "short bus", so Im not just being a pain in ass. I know that when she grows up, she'll have to deal with people with views like yours.

(I do find the "ethics school" ideal quite ludicrous and it deserves critism, but I find your imagery very offensive)

7. As the parent of a "short bus" kid...
I have to agree with you. I am not overly sensitive, but I've heard this derogatory term used just one too many times this week. Please people... have a little compassion.

9. Sorry. It Was Not Meant As A Comment On Anyone But Bush.
Not everyone loves everything I do. Try not to take it personally. I hear what you are saying. However, sometimes in satire you must play off of some social stereotypes to make a point.

I just ask the you consider the point of view of folks with those very real disabilities next time.

I dont' expect to go though life unoffended but sometimes I do get worn down.
