Savvy Republicans distance themselves from Bush.
What is upside to aligning themselves with a lame-duck president whose polls are below 40%? There are none. George Bush is not running again. The smart Repubs know that. They know the best opportunity for them is to offer a Republican "alternative" to the unpopular president. Those that side with Bush at this time are not very smart.

2. They Want to Make Sure they Get the MACHINE Votez
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 01:17 PM by AndyTiedye
When appealing to the deeply unpopular Bush** matters more than appealing
to the voters on the eve of an election, what does that tell you?
That Bush** matters more to them staying in office than the voters do.

Bush's arrival in Virginia the other day, like the scenes of the Bush
family shown on the past 2 pResidential election nights, was the signal
that the election needs to be rigged (when they did that in 2000 and
2004, the numbers started changing immediately afterwards).

It is also the signal to all the Judith Millers in the media to start
inventing their "comeback" stories to explain away the "upset" that is
about to happen.

The vote-rigging gets worse and more blatant every year.

Fixing the votes around the Party.
