1. I heard reports that US military is purposefully goading Korea into action
with confrontational shots, flyovers, etc. so they have an excuse to engage them. (Apparently, "Screw the south Korean civilians")

Note to self: South Korea also not a great place to visit these days.

4. I lived in South Korea for 2 years.
It was scary then, but no shots were ever fired over the DMZ. The North is getting more brazen.

6. That's because that F*cker playing like Marshall Dillon is a puke
who doesn't know anything about strategic geopolitics or REAL humanitarian issues. Yes, the dictator is starving his people, but now Bush is sanctioning even more starving of the people by REFUSING to give any food aid to N. Korea until they come to heel. It is sick.

I really hate Bush. He's gonna kill more young grunts who fight on the wall while he runs and hides in bunkers.

BULLLLSHIITTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. This situation has been threatening for so long
The Israeli-Palestinian crisis has reached new levels of violence. We are still fighting in Afghanistan and al-Qaeda has dispersed. So Bush* chooses to ignore all of these desperate and dangerous situations in the world and wage war on Iraq, instead.

This reminds me of a favorite article from The Onion:

3. wow !! they`re digging
up old news again- one of by buddies went to the army in 65 and went went to korea . he said that everynight the koreans would either shoot at them (over their heads) or throw gernades into the dmz to keep the us troops "awake" as he put it. maybe things had cooled for awhile but with bush in charge they may have decided to keep our troops from "sleeping" again...
